Black Bean Dip

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (15 oz) of black beans (no salt)
  • ½ cup salsa (canned or homemade)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp chili powder
  • Dash of salt

DIRECTIONS

In a food processor, combine one can of black beans, rinsed and drained, with the salsa and blend until smooth. Next, add the cilantro, juice of one lime, and spices. Blend until everything is well incorporated. Serve with raw carrots and bell peppers, baked corn tortilla chips, or on tacos.
