Brighter Bites is changing lives one bite at a time!

Our mission is to improve health outcomes among children and families in under-resourced communities by using the data-driven, evidence-based strategies of providing fresh produce and nutrition education.

We do this through a three-part formula:
🍍produce distribution (~50 servings of fresh produce bi-weekly per family)
📖nutrition education (n-class & at-home nutrition education)
🎉fun food experience (healthy recipes, tastings, & digital engagement)

We'd love for you to be a part of our work! See the ways to participate today!

Every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year with confidence, prepared to learn, grow, and thrive. However, research consistently shows that food and nutrition insecurity create obstacles to learning. At Brighter Bites, our goal is to ensure children are nourished so they can flourish. That’s why Brighter Bites offers families more than fresh food. We provide the tools, knowledge, and support families need to build healthier futures both at home and in the classroom.

Join us as we are transforming lives one bite at a time, one lesson at a time, one student at a time. Help ensure that more children walk into the classroom ready to learn and families have the resources they need to build brighter, healthier futures.
