Brighter Bites is committed to fostering a culture of respect, consideration, nondiscrimination, and accountability amongst our board, staff, and stakeholders in order to implement our program well to the various under-resourced communities we serve.


Brighter Bites works to create a meaningful workplace. We do not discriminate and we open up the floor for everyone and embrace their culture, their background, and everything that makes them their own person.

Our Vision:

  • We believe that we can increase our staff’s cultural knowledge and awareness through training and events, to create a company culture where we here at Brighter Bites are equipped to put our knowledge into practice.

  • We work to identify and advocate for strategies that encourage fairness and nondiscriminatory practices in our Brighter Bites programming from site recruitment to program promotion and implementation in the school communities that we serve.

Our Goals:

  • Equip staff with training and tools to encourage an understanding and promotion of different cultural backgrounds to better serve the variety of backgrounds of our staff and families.
  • Implement and follow policies that promote respect and consideration of all employees at every level of the organization throughout the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process.
