Mallory Bove is a native San Antonian. She recently moved back after living in the Austin area during the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Foods and Master of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. The focus of her studies and research is maternal and child health outcomes related to imbalances in equity and access to services. Mallory has been of service in various non-profit organizations and governmental agencies, tackling food insecurity, improving equity and access to social determinants of health, and promoting disease prevention.

In her day to day free-time, Mallory loves trying new foods, attending farmers markets, going to dance classes, visiting friends and family, and doing outdoor activities with her dog, Poppy. Mallory also enjoys world traveling with her favorite destinations being Israel, Jamaica, and the Yucatan Peninsula, and is dedicated to cultural diversity and cultural humility in which she brings to her personal and professional life.
