Huntley Kubitza

Development Coordinator

Huntley Kubitza was born and raised in Houston, TX. She attended the Kinkaid School and the
University of Oklahoma. She was a teacher at Highland Park Presbyterian Day School in Dallas,
TX until a transfer within her husband’s firm took them to Zurich, Switzerland and London,
England for international assignments. While abroad, Huntley volunteered at the American
Women’s Club of Zurich and was the Deputy Executive Director of Finance at FOCUS
Information Services, a nonprofit organization that supports and assists expatriates and
accompanying spouses.

After returning to the United States and settling in Houston, Huntley remained an active
volunteer in the nonprofit community through her tenure in the Junior League, service on the
board of The Children’s Fund for four years, and held several leadership positions within the
Parents Association at her children’s school. Huntley remains connected with her university and
continues to give back as a member of the Board of Advocates for the Jeanine Rainbolt College
of Education. She is proud to participate on committees and task forces within Houston
Methodist hospital system (main campus), and is completing her term as the Chair of The
Society for Leading Medicine at Houston Methodist.

Huntley graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Elementary Education, and
most recently completed the Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives certificate from Rice
University. She is an avid runner and enjoys running marathons, including Houston, Boston and
New York. She loves reading, traveling, and cooking healthy recipes with her husband and three
children.
