Dr. Faiyaz Bhojani is a public health physician, a big picture specialty, viewing health from an individual, community, and a population lens considering all the determinants of health.

He is a graduate of the Dow Medical University of Karachi, Pakistan, has a master’s and a doctoral degree in public health, and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Preventive Medicine, and American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

Dr. Bhojani is passionate about health with interests in developing partnerships and innovation to empower people and organizations to deliver optimal human and business performance across systems.

Dr. Bhojani is a retired health leader for Shell’s North & South American business, where his responsibilities included thought leadership, strategic plan, advocacy, benchmarking and solution transfer across all business and community, in collaboration with HR, HSE, Business, and Social Investment.

In 2002, Dr. Bhojani established The Health Forum – a peer group of petrochemical company corporate medical directors to drive care in management of people solutions across the energy industry.

Dr. Bhojani serves on the UTHealth Development Board, is a member of the Environmental Health Sciences, Research, and Medicine Roundtable of the National Academy of Sciences, Advisory Board of Southwest Center for Occupational Health, editorial board of Occupational Disability Guidelines, HERO Think Tank, a charter member of the Corporate Well Being & Strategic Health Leadership Council of The Conference Board, a board member of the Business Council of the Work Place Wellness Alliance – Institute Health and Productivity Management, and a board member of the Houston Business Coalition on Health.

In addition, Dr. Bhojani is actively involved in academia, professional. and community organizations. He serves as an Adjunct Professor, Epidemiology and Environmental Sciences at UTSPH and Professor, Family, Community, and Internal Medicine Baylor College of Medicine. He is the CEO of MRZ Medical Practice, speaks at national and international meetings, and has published in peer-reviewed journals.

He volunteers at Human Health Foundation’s community health clinic for the disenfranchised, is a former secretary of Al-Hadi school of Accelerative learning, Houston, and is a board member of the Jafari No-Interest Credit Union.
