Angeles Arroyo

Program Coordinator
Los Angeles

Angeles is a Program Coordinator for Brighter Bites Los Angeles. She majored in International and Global Studies at Middlebury College in Vermont. Having interned in the non-profit realm, she knew she found fulfillment giving back to her Latino community. Growing up in Los Angeles, she found a passion working with other low-income students in need of educational support. Tutoring opened her eyes to the disadvantages many of her students faced due to language barriers and food insecurity. Thinking of her community, Angeles knew she wanted to help increase access to necessary resources. Recognizing the importance of balanced nutrition for educational success and emotional well-being led her to Brighter Bites. Angeles is excited to promote healthy habits and see how our families flourish! Angeles loves trying new cultural foods and cooking with friends. Her favorite ways to stay active are lifting weights and dancing!
