Maryann is a Program Supervisor for Brighter Bites in Dallas.  Her journey with Brighter Bites began as a volunteer in the summer of 2015, and over the past 10 years, she has grown alongside the organization, serving as a Program Associate, Program Coordinator, Senior Operations Coordinator, and now Program Supervisor. Throughout her tenure, Maryann has helped strengthen Dallas operations, foster community partnerships, support the development of staff and interns, and expand access to fresh produce and nutrition education for local families. She is also the artist behind many of Brighter Bites’ recipe-inspired doodles and illustrations that help bring the Fun Food Experience to life.

With a background in Spanish and psychology, Maryann is passionate about community health and creating positive experiences for the families and communities Brighter Bites serves. Outside of work, Maryann enjoys hiking with her dog Luna, biking scenic trails, painting, and embroidery.
